With all the web 2.0 hype at the moment, something that visually defines what to aim for is a good idea. The stuff, that the likes of google popularised, has the potential to really replace the desktop application; yet it also has the potential to be misused to the point where users will be driven away.
As with anything people need to focus on what they want to achieve, what their users need; not to get lost playing around with “Cool Stuff”.
