		<description>Analytics, as far as I've been able to ascertain from my own usage and the reports of others, has been woefully sporadic. We're talking no wednesday, no friday [for me]. Slashdot has obsessed itself with paranoia over the usage of the data... whereas I'm obsessed with the fact that google seems to have vomited half of it up.

Maybe this was just a ploy on the part of Google to have everyone give them access to their websites. Maybe Google Analytics isn&#8217;t even part of Google despite the URL. Maybe it&#8217;s a new initiative of Homeland Security to track all of the &#8220;smart&#8221; people in the country.  Wait.
