		<description>Yea, I started this blog with blogger, and changed due to the fact that you cannot get it to validate. No point running a web site about web design and standards if your own blog doesn't validate. ;)

Your blog loads up okay in Opera 8.5, but you cannot view the blog entry, or any of the desktop windows. Then again Opera JavaScript always has to be difficult. :(

I know it breaks about every webstandard you care to find, but
a) I could never get blogger code to validate anyway :(
b) it still renders in every browser I could get my hands on :)
also, while I work in IT I am most definitely NOT a site coder. But I'll surely come back here once in a while and pick up some tips.

The biggest problem with load times I have is that I have to pull in a few RSS feeds and reformat them using feedsweep or feedburner to render as HTML. If one or more of these services are slow, well, you'll be staring at the loading screen for a while. Them's the breaks of using only free tools.</description>
