I’m a very forgetful person by nature, so whenever I get to the end of a post I have to sit there and try and remember the link format for del.icio.us or technorati tag links. In the end I can’t so I go to a previous post, copy the html and edit it.

Well Ultimate Tag Warrior is now installed, and I am going to play with it a bit to see if I can get it doing things the way I want. Or perhaps it can change my thoughts on what exactly I want.

One of the drawbacks is all my existing tagged posts are not tagged by this, and so you’ll see all the old posts with the words “no tags” right beneath the tags.

P.S. It seems I’m going to have to edit this plug-in a bit. When making the tags appear as an HTML icon list, the damn thing places li tags without a surrounding ul or ol. WordPress is XHTML compliant, so plug-ins should be developed as such.

P.P.S Well that was easy. Thankfully the code has the ability to format tags based on it being first or last, so I just has to change the one line for htmllisticons. Also done: removed the No Tags text if there were no tags, and added alt tags to the icons, added the tags div around the tags. XHTML validator seems happy now.
